More than $300 billion in federal grants are awarded each year. Erase the complexity and confusion often associated with federal grants and gain the tools to successfully compete in the application process. This workshop will introduce those unfamiliar with federal grants, or those with limited or disappointing experience, with the basics about approaching a federal agency or department for a discretionary/competitive grant, formula/block grant, cooperative agreement, or contract.

Diane Gedeon-Martin is a national grants consultant, instructor, and lecturer. She writes an average of 10 federal grants annually with a “win rate” of 91%. She knows how to interpret every type of federal RFP, RFQ, RFA, NOFA, or FOA to determine if her clients are likely candidates to submit competitive proposals. Diane is an adjunct faculty member of The Fund Raising School at the Center for Philanthropy at Indiana University in Indianapolis where she not only teaches Preparing Successful Grant Proposals and Principles & Techniques of Fundraising, but also co-developed the curriculum for the grant proposals course. www.write-source.com.
