Ruth Zax, CFRE, Director of Development for Child and Family Services, was presented the Award for Excellence in Development by Anne de Cossy from Opus Advisors LLC of Portsmouth, sponsors of the Award, at the recent joint CONFR-AFP conference in Manchester. CONFR Executive Director Pam McDonald said Ruth was chosen for the Award for thirty-years of inspiring donors, board members, corporations, and colleagues to invest more than $23 million in the futures of the children that CFS serves.

Ruth was nominated by CFS President and CEO Michael Ostrowski who wrote: “Ruth has raised her voice on behalf of a hidden population of neglected children to provide for each of them an opportunity to flourish in a healthy, self-sufficient family, supported by an involved community. Ruth is known for her limitless capacity to take on more, deliver results, and inspire others to continue the critically important endeavor of giving back.”
